Connect your GLS agreement

Here you ask GLS for 4 details and add them to fragtr. It takes about 5 minutes – plus the time GLS takes to reply.

What you need

✅ A GLS business agreement in Denmark
✅ 4 details from GLS: username, password, customer ID and contact ID
✅ Your price sheet from GLS

Part 1 – Get your details from GLS

1
Write to your contact person at GLS – or to GLS customer service – and say: "We'd like access to the GLS web API (CreateShipment) for our customer number."
2
GLS sends you 4 things: username, password, customer ID (Customerid) and contact ID (Contactid). Keep them somewhere safe.
3
At the same time, ask for your price sheet if you don't have it – you need to upload it under Finance → Cost price.
The password is secret. Never forward it by email – only enter it in fragtr.

Your prices

GLS has no way for us to fetch your agreed prices automatically. So you add your GLS prices as a price sheet under Finance → Cost price – one product at a time, with the dates the prices apply.

The price sheet is a CSV or Excel file with 3 columns: land (country), til_kg (up to kg) and pris (price per parcel, excl. VAT). Download the template.

Enter the fuel surcharge under Finance → Cost fuel. Until the price sheet is uploaded, your own GLS prices won't show in price check – but you can connect right away.

Part 2 – Add it to fragtr

1
Log in to fragtr.dk and go to Backend in the menu on the left.
2
Click + Connect carrier and choose GLS.
3
Enter the username, password, customer ID and contact ID from GLS.
4
Click Connect GLS. We check the details right away.
Done! 🎉 GLS is connected. Once your price sheet is under Finance → Cost price, your own GLS prices show in price check marked "Own agreement".
GLS offers no way for us to test the username and password in advance. They are checked the first time you book. If you get an error then, correct them under Backend → Edit.

If it doesn't work

Error messageWhat to do
"GLS rejected the username or password"Copy them again from GLS's email. Watch out for spaces.
No own GLS prices in price checkYour price sheet isn't under Finance → Cost price yet – or it doesn't cover the pickup date.
Another error from GLS when bookingRead the message – it comes directly from GLS. Usually a postcode or an address is missing.
