Connect your UPS agreement

Here you get 2 keys from UPS and add them to fragtr. It takes about 5 minutes.

What you need

✅ A UPS business account (a 6-character account number, e.g. A1B2C3)

✅ Your ups.com login

✅ 5 minutes

Where do I find the account number? It's on your UPS invoice, or under Account when you log in to ups.com.

Part 1 – Get the keys from UPS

Go to developer.ups.com and click Log in. Use the same login as on ups.com.

Click My Apps in the top right corner. Then click Add Apps.

Choose "I want to integrate UPS technology into my business". Select your UPS account in the list, accept the terms and click Next.

Enter your contact details (name, email, phone) and click Next.

Under App Name, enter: fragtr. Under Callback URL, enter: https://fragtr.dk

Under Add Products, select these 4: Authorization (OAuth), Rating, Shipping and Tracking. Click Save.

You now see two codes: Client ID and Client Secret. Click the eye 👁 next to Client Secret to reveal it. Copy both – keep them somewhere safe until you have used them.

The Client Secret works like a password. Never send it by email – only paste it into fragtr.

Part 2 – Add the keys to fragtr

Click + Connect carrier and choose UPS.

Enter the Client ID, Client Secret and your UPS account number in the fields.

Click Connect UPS. We test the keys with UPS right away.

Done! 🎉 Run a price check. The UPS prices are now marked "Own agreement" – these are your own UPS prices.

If it doesn't work

Error message	What to do
"UPS rejected the Client ID or Client Secret"	Copy both codes again from My Apps on developer.ups.com. Make sure no space is included.
"The UPS account number has 6 characters"	Check the account number on your UPS invoice. It has 6 characters – digits and letters.
An error about Rating or Shipping	Open your app on developer.ups.com and check that all 4 products from step 6 are selected.
No UPS prices in price check	Check under Backend that the connection is Active and not paused.

Good to know

Pickup: If you don't have a scheduled daily pickup with UPS, book a pickup on ups.com after booking the shipment.
Label: The label is ready in fragtr straight away – one page per parcel.
Cancellation: If you cancel in fragtr, the shipment is also cancelled with UPS.
Invoice: UPS invoices you directly, as usual.
